Image: Construction; This shows construction of the wings, the top set are fresh painted with no weathering, the bottom two wings have been weathered and ready to go.

This is the AMT/ERTL X-Wing model. It is about 1/48 scale. There are no decals on this kit. Everything is painted. The R2D2 top was sanded down and polished. Then I applied an aluminum buffing metalizer. I created my own blue decals to go on the top of R2. The inside wing openings were super detailed using telephone wire and sheet styrene. Weathering was done with chalk pastels.
