Cylon Raider from BATTLESTAR GALACTICA. This is a VERY BIG, Studio Scale model. It weighs a couple pounds, and is made entirely of resin. The kit was acquired from Federation Models. The masters were pulled from one of the actual filming miniatures, and the wings were cleaned up with some new parts, matching the studio scale model. It comes with lighting for the front lights under the cockpit, as well as some super bright LED's for the rear engines. Assembly overall was quite simple. Some flash, cleanup needed. The engines sections didn't align very well, and needed some putty and seam filling. The right wing is molded at more of a drop off then the left, but when watching some of the episodes, this is also apparent. Giving more validity that this is actually a pull from an original. I also took a few pictures of the Studio Scale Viper and Monogram Viper next to the Raider to give a sense of size. Enjoy the pictures!!
